Objectives and results of the action: Building DRR -Resilient Development Capacities –through Introduction of Innovative Technologies and Youth Involvement. In cooperation with OXFAM GB Georgia and NGO “Black Sea Eco academy” (BSEA) 3 Resilient Community Models were developed in 3 communities of Keda, Shuakhevi and Khulo Municipalities. DRR community resilience centres established and supported in three municipalities. Local capacities to mitigate disaster are built in 18 communities of Mountainous areas. Innovative Financing Scheme for Replication off DRR/CC Innovation Technologies is developed and introduced. Participatory Community Tool for Vulnerability Assessment (CTVA) to be used by local and regional authorities to create and maintain community contingency plans is institutionalized. Survey of Disaster Vulnerability in Mountainous areas of Adjara was conducted.
