
With the support of the World Church Service (CWS), the non-governmental organization Rural Community Development Agency (RCDA) has launched the LDS Giving Machines project.
The implementation of the project is envisaged in four municipalities inΒ Adjara Khulo Municipiaty Ghorjomi Community, In Kvemo Kartli Tsalka Municipality Trialeti community, in Samegrelo -Zemo Svaneti Khobi municipality Pirvelimaisi and Torsa communities and in Gorelovka and Spasovka communities in Ninotsminda municipality Β of GeorgiaΒ where CWS supported projects are being implemented. Amongt IDPs (Internally Displactd persons), eco migrantsΒ Β and local small holder farmmers and households.
Overall project goal isΒ toΒ promote small scale poultry production, beekeeping, pork production and goats breeding,Β among poor IDPs, eco migrantsΒ Β and local households in order to increase their incomes, nutrition and livelihoods.Β This will be achievedΒ through increasing poultry , honey and porkΒ production levels (quantity and quality), reducing production costs.Β It also aimsΒ to promoteΒ improved practices and modern technologies of production through skills development and training.
